Head of Marketing (all genders)

Your mission

  • You will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for our national marketing – keeping the company’s and growth objectives in mind and translating them into a clear, effective marketing strategy.
  • You will be responsible for all marketing disciplines: brand & positioning, performance / demand generation, content & communication, events & trade fairs, marketing automation & CRM.
  • You will develop creative PR & employer branding initiatives in collaboration with HR.
  • You will develop product & go-to-market campaigns in close coordination with Business Development and Product Management.
  • You will support international expansion and market entries through the strategic planning and localisation of our marketing activities – from brand building to lead generation.
  • You will ensure close, clearly structured collaboration with Sales, with clearly defined lines of responsibility, particularly when it comes to lead and pipeline development.
  • You will lead and develop your marketing team into an empathetic, performance-driven and modern marketing organisation.
  • You will confidently manage and take responsibility for budgets, resources, and external agencies and service providers.
  • You will define relevant KPIs, monitor them and continuously refine them.

Your profile

  • You have several years’ leadership experience in complex, international marketing organisations and extensive experience in B2B marketing – ideally in the SaaS, software or technology sector.
  • Your expertise covers brand strategy and positioning, performance marketing, demand generation, international go-to-market strategies, as well as marketing automation and CRM.
  • You are experienced in collaborating with sales, business development and product management.
  • You have a thorough understanding of KPI frameworks, budget management and marketing ROI, and can translate these into targeted actions.
  • You stand out for your strong leadership and coaching skills, strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, as well as your empathy and closeness to the team.
  • You are characterised by a structured, solution-oriented and responsible approach to your work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, intercultural understanding, resilience and the ability to prioritise round off your profile.
  • You are, of course, fluent in German and English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
